That's what one of the participants in yesterday's program on "Legal Basics for Nonprofit Board Members" had to say about what he learned. UMSL's Dan Sise gave a great overview of the nonprofit sector, board members' duties, potential liability (& important protections), and future issues and trends in the nonprofit world.
Dan will join us again next month on Thursday, May 26 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. to present "Grant Management Basics" - join us to learn about the contracts, disbursement process, reporting requirements and other issues that come into play once your nonprofit is awarded a grant.
