Come meet Kief Schladweiler, Foundation Center Funding Information Network Specialist, at our special free session for new professional or volunteer fundraisers or those who want a refresher overview of the components of an effective nonprofit, at Introduction to Fundraising Planning, Weds. April 8, 1-2:30 pm in the 2nd flr. training rm. here at Central Library.  He will show you how to:
  •  take stock of your organization's strengths and assets, 
  • develop a case statement
  • set fundraising goals
  • id funding partners 
  • prepare a fundraising plan and calendar 
and how Foundation Center resources can assist you in these steps, plus answer your questions about those resources (including the Foundation Directory Online Professional and Foundation Maps subscription databases accessible free here at Central).  1 CFRE unit



Kief Schladweiler has been the Foundation Center’s Funding Information Network Services Specialist since 2005.  Prior to that he served as the Center’s online librarian for several years. He joined the Foundation Center in 1999 after working as a reference librarian for The New York Public Library. He received his M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
