Start Something: Be A Social Entrepreneur -- Doing Good while Doing Well!  Come learn about the growing field of social enterprise from Chris Miller, CEO of the Mission Company L3C, and a panel of experts who have helped social entrepreneurs grow in St. Louis.  Find out what it takes to get started, how some local social entrepreneurs have earned success and where you can go for more information and advice.
In 2007, Chris joined Washington University in St. Louis’ Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. There, he helped develop the community-based social entrepreneurship education program.

 Panelists include Laurie Hauber, project director for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri’s Community Economic Development Program, and Fred Domke, founder of Bridge Bread, a social entrepreneurship  initiative designed to help homeless persons be productively employed and a 2014 winner of the Youthbridge Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition.
