It's always tough to resist the temptation to apply for grants. ARCHS' experts will offer tried-and-true tips on how to analyze whether or not your nonprofit organization has the crucial elements in place to go after complicated funding. Learn how to look at a grant and say "no" within 15 minutes. Discussion will focus on funder history, grant expectations, deliverables, outputs/outcomes, and evaluation components.

Grant Writing Update for the Experienced
Fundraisiers with a minimum of 3 years of experience writing grant proposals are invited to enroll soon in Writing Effective Grant Proposals "An Exercise for Experienced Grant Writers" taught by Wendy Dyer Aug. 27, 9-3 at the Nonprofit Services Center. Topics covered will include how to write effective measurable outcome statements.The $90 fee includes a breakfast snack and lunch. Class capacity is 30.
