April 12 3-5 pm The 990 & Your Nonprofit’s Tax-Exempt Status Attorney Dan Sise, community engagement specialist for the Nonprofit Management and Leadership Program (NPML) at UMSL, will discuss the various forms of the IRS 990 annual return, with a particular emphasis on the 990-N return for small nonprofits.

April 18 3-5 pm Volunteer Management Basics for Nonprofits Learn how to attract, organize, motivate and keep capable volunteers to help your nonprofit effectively change lives in our community. Rick Skinner, vice president, Volunteer Center, United Way of Greater St. Louis, will give an overview of volunteer management principles and tools and discuss where to find help leading the volunteers that are a vital component of a nonprofit organization.Cosponsored by BoardLinkStL.
