Can you read the Fine Print of Nonprofit Contracts?

A panel of ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel) attorneys will outline the basics of contract law in the nonprofit world on Thursday April 28 here at Schlafly from 3-4:30 pm. These legal experts will discuss what contracts are, what happens when contracting parties disagree, "boilerplate" contracts, and how to improve your contract negotiation strategies. The panel will focus on consulting agreements, and explain how the basic principles apply to other contracts common to nonprofit operations such as purchase orders, software license agreements and office leases. E-mail me with questions or to sign up.
