Review Financial Basics for Nonprofits 7/24/13 at Central

Mary Kay Lofgren and Debra Leible, both CPAs and managers in RubinBrown LLP’s Nonprofit Division, will again share their expertise on financial budgeting and cash management for nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers here at Central Library (2nd floor training room) from 3-5 pm on Weds, July 24th.

 If you are new to reading organizational financial statements or want a refresher on current organizational budgeting and cash management practices, this is the program for you. Using examples, Mary Kay and Debbie will discuss;

  •  the importance of budgeting and cash management to the success of your nonprofit,
  •  the types of budgets available,
  •  steps involved in preparing a budget, and
  •  the importance of a strong internal control systems.
