Now You See Us... Soon You Won't--'Til December

Monday, Aug. 6, the Grants & Foundation Center will close at the Schlafly branch library in order to move and prepare to reopen Sunday Dec.9 in the Social Sciences Room of the renewed and restored Central Library downtown. 

Be sure to come by before Aug. 6 if you want to use Foundation Directory Online Professional database, check out books from the collection or get information from the handouts kiosk. 

All upcoming G&FC events (see calendar) WILL take place at Schlafly (or Buder) as scheduled. Throughout this 4-month behind-the-scenes work period, please keep in touch through this blog, by calling 314-539-0357 or by e-mailing kparks@slpl.org.

We've Moved in at SCHLAFLY Branch Library!

• G&FC books and resource recommendations are here to browse through, refer to or check out,
• G&FC staff is here (9am -9 pm M-Th, 9 am-6 pm F & Sat.),
• Foundation Directory Online Professional and Grants to Individuals Online databases are installed and available for searching on a total of 8 computers,
• My email's still the same, and the 314.539-0357 direct phone line should be transferred soon. (In the meantime, phone Schlafly at 314.367.4120 and ask for the G&FC.)

So please come on by 225 N. Euclid, St. Louis, 63108, to say hello, help us settle in and get details about our July and August programs.

G&FC to Move in June

As some of you may have heard, Central Library is closing for two years of renewal and restoration construction at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 12. All Grants & Foundation Center books, databases, magazines/journals and staff will be moving to the Schlafly Branch of SLPL, on the corner of Lindell and Euclid, soon thereafter. We may be out of contact for a couple of weeks as books, computer accounts, the database terminals, phones, etc. get switched but you should be able to request and check out our regular books from any branch during that interval with just a slight delay. We'll post the G&FC reopening date and any changes in contact information here as soon as it's available.
