The Rome Group's annual Philanthropic Landscape event is an important part of each summer for many people involved in the Third Sector economy in the St. Louis region-- an opportunity for newsgathering, networking and inspiration. The nonprofit consultancy has organized this year's July 16 gathering at Washington University's Edison Theater around the timely theme "Enhancing Mission Through Equity and Inclusion." Keynote speakers will be Susan Batten, from ABFE: A Philanthropic Partnership for Black Communities and Paula Dressen, from JustPartners Inc.. In addition to a panel of local leaders, the event will include a report on this year's Rome Group information survey of local nonprofits. The event is free but registration is required.
